Digestive System - Turkish Students

Digestive system; It is one of the 11 systems found in the human body. Other systems in the body are the cardiovascular system (circulatory system), the reproductive system, the muscular system, the lymphatic system, which is a part of the immune system, the skin, the endocrine system, the nervous system, the urinary system, the respiratory system and the body's carrier system. is the skeletal system. All these systems in the body work together and in harmony. The digestive system, on the other hand, is the most important system that feeds these systems along with the respiratory system and is an important part of immunity. In addition, the maintenance of the health of bone and muscle tissue and the smooth functioning of the circulatory system depend on the nutrients taken through digestion and the faultless functioning of this system.
Digestive system; It consists of organs in the digestive tract, liver, pancreas and gall bladder. The alimentary canal is a channel that starts with the mouth and ends with the anus and contains many organs on this path. Respectively, the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and anus are organs located in the digestive tract. All of these organs act interdependently, allowing the digestive function to work smoothly.
In addition to bodily secretions such as stomach acid and bile that support digestion in the digestive tract, there are many beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. While the beneficial bacteria in the human intestine aid digestion, they also play a role in the synthesis of short-chain fatty acids and some vitamins.
The endocrine system and circulatory system in the body are other systems that help the digestive system. These systems work together to aid digestion and ensure successful digestion.
Human body; In order to function properly, it needs protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and water taken into the body through digestion. All cells in the body work with these nutrients. In cases where the nutritional balance is impaired for any reason, problems may arise in the functioning of all other mechanisms in the body.
